Many people, even if they don’t know anything about Korean culture, language or customs, they are always interested in one thing — Korean food. Here are some of them food items that can be easily found in Korean restaurants. Let’s see how many of them you’ve already tasted before!

Side dish (반찬):
Kimchi = 김치
White radish (to have with fried chicken) =치킨무
Pickled radish = 단무지
Raw shrimp in soy sauce = 간장새우
Raw crab in soy sauce = 간장게장
Egg roll = 계란말이

Bunsik (“fast food/ snack”) (분식):
Spicy rice cake = 떡볶이
Fried food = 튀김
Fish cake = 오뎅
Kimbap = 김밥
Sundae (blood sausage) = 순대
Instant noodle = 라면
Dumplings =만두
Crispy seaweed noodle rolls = 김말이
Cheese ball =치즈볼
Hot dog = 핫도그

Dakgalbi (Spicy grilled chicken and vegetables) = 닭갈비

Gopchang (grilled beef intestines) = 곱창
Bossam (pork wraps) = 보쌈
